What are the differences between ordinary glass and fireproof glass?Luoyang golden armour will answer for you.
The difference between ordinary glass and fire-proof glass:ordinary float glass, tempered glass, coated glass and other non fire-proof glass are very weak in the event of a fire. They will burst in 1-10 minutes, and cannot suppress the transmission of flame and smoke. In case of fire, the fire-proof glass can adhere to the corresponding fire-resistant function within a certain period of time to win time for personnel evacuation, rescue and disaster relief(Class A and class C fire prevention effects are different)
The fire-proof glass can be divided into:composite fire-proof glass(FFB)and monolithic fire-proof glass(DFB)according to the structure
Composite fireproof glass:special glass composed of two or more layers of glass or one layer of glass and organic materials, which meets the corresponding fire-resistant function requirements
Monolithic fireproof glass:special glass composed of single-layer glass and meeting the corresponding fire-resistant function requirements
According to the fire-resistant function,the fire-proof glass can be divided into:thermal insulation type fire-proof glass(with satisfactory fire integrity and fire insulation,class a),non thermal insulation type fire-proof glass(only fire integrity,class C),and heat radiation suppression type fire-proof glass(class B)
Fire resistance integrity:when one side of the glass is exposed to fire,it can avoid the penetration of flame and hot gas within a certain period of time or the emergence of flame on the back fire surface.
Fire resistance and heat insulation:when one side of the glass is exposed to fire,it can make the temperature of the back fire side not exceed the specified value within a certain time.
Fire resistance limit of fireproof glass:five grades,0.50h,1.0h,1.50h,2.0h and 3.0h
Fire window grade:***(not less than 1.5 hours),grade B(not less than 1 hour)and grade C(not less than 0.5 hours),commonly known in the industry as grade A,B and C of fire-proof glass, the same as above.
